Week 2 at the Globe & Mail

March 30, 2009

Week 2 began and ended on a bit of a sombre note. On Friday afternoon, I raced down to SW Marine and 41st, where police had blocked off the intersection after finding a woman’s body at the corner of 41st and Camosun (entrance to the endowment lands). This was after Monday morning, when I was down at the BC Supreme Court where the Robert Pickton appeal hearing is underway. Spoke with family members of Mona Wilson and Georgina Papin to add perspective to Robert Matas’s piece.

Saturday, April 4: Woman’s body found in West Vancouver, A11

Thursday, April 2: Man faces charges in explosive chemical scare, S2.

Thursday, April 2: No one gets a rain check in Victoria tourism deal, S2.

Wednesday, April 1: UBC can’t collect parking fines, judge says, S2.

Wednesday, April 1: TSB points to CN Rail crew as cause of 2007 crash, S2.

Tuesday, March 31: Experts seek guidance from snowmobilers, A6.

Tuesday, March 31: By Robert Matas: Judge’s words to jury key in appeal (files).
